Children from the Cardiff cancer unit receive Christmas gifts from Santa
10 children recently received early Christmas presents as a result of the 2019 JAM Fund Cardiff half marathon team. Each child received £250 worth of gifts which were on their list to Santa. The man himself made an early appearance to deliver them in person and the children were amazed as he knew not only about them, but what they'd wished for and even all about their brothers and sisters too! The JAM Fund would like to thank the team members and supporters, all the generous sponsors. Tony Caley-Burnell at the Norwegian Church Cardiff Bay for making the venue magical, Hilary, Amy and the catering team for the buffet and party treats, Bob Armstrong of Dr Bob's Balloons in Barry who provided entertainment and magic and of course Santa Claus himself!! As well as these children, six more from around the UK will also receive gifts and the staff of Rainbow ward (at the children's cancer unit at University Hospital Wales) will also receive overdue recognition for their dedication and care of the children. JAM Fund chairperson, Paul Adamson would like to thank all concerned in making this possible and his family for their help and support.
